  Dear Participants and colleagues On behalf of the congress administrative and scientific committee, we are glad to welcome you to the CONJOINT CONFERENCE of the 17th Congress of the African Association of Nephrology, (AFRAN), the 41st Congress of the Egyptian Society of Nephrology & Transplantation, (ESNT), as well as the 2nd Congress of the African Society of Organ Transplantation, (ASOT), that will be held from 14 to 18 February 2023 in Cairo-Egypt. This is actually a NEPHROLOGY SUMMIT that you would never want to miss, thanks to the cooperation of most of the international societies in the field: ISN, ISPD, TTS, AFPNA, KDIGO, DICG, Mayo Clinic, and other international groups that actively supported our congress. The theme of this congress is: “Achieving high Quality Care for Nephrology in Africa”. After Many Virtual meetings we hope to meet you all in person, however, the congress will still be Hybrid for those who are not able to attend physically. Many of you could have visited Egypt and admired the Treasures of the Pharaohs at the dawn of civilization, but this time, our teams will be fully dedicated to making this event a success on all fronts: scientifically, socially, and culturally, you will also enjoy our warm hospitality. We are expecting to welcome more than 1000 participants from most African countries, as well as international delegates; and potentially, not less than 1,000 online delegates. Efforts have been made to acquire CME accreditations for this important event, and we will arrange to publish accepted abstracts in the African and Egyptian Nephrology journals. THE CARDIORENAL METABOLIC SUMMIT Dear Professor and colleagues it’s our pleasure to invite you to attend the 14th eADC (the cardiorenal metabolic summit) that will be held on 6-8 October 2022 in Cairo Egypt. The conference will focus on the diversity of renal cardiovascular and metabolic disorders in the era of new multi-target treatment strategies and medications.
